Coming off of a terrible start against the Blue Jays, Randy Johnson looked great. He pitched 8 solid innings, giving up only one run on three hits ( all hits by Miguel Tejeda).

Jason Giambi had a great afternoon, hitting two home runs and batting in 5 runs.

The Yankees' pitching is the second best in the majors so far this season; New York has only given up 71 runs.

  • Johnson needed to bounce back, after he struggled severely in his last outing. But, I am a Sox fan so I can't say I liked to see him back in his usual dominating form.
