Notes:

Mussina was very solid in his seven innings of work, striking out six batters but giving up two home runs ( Chavez, Swisher).

The game was tied going into the ninth, Mariano Rivera and Scott Proctor warming in the bullpen. Joe Torre went with Proctor, end of story.
