Holy cow, what a game! Yankees bring in FIFTEEN RUNS on SEVENTEEN HITS!!!!! Alex Rodriguez crushes a grand slam in the second ining off Barry Zito, the Athletics' ace. The Yankees knocked him out after only an inning and a third of work!

Matsui tied his career high with four hits, including a three-run home run.

Every Yankee scored at least one run, and each Yankee in the starting lineup (except for Posada) had at least one hit.
