Schilling Shuts Down Yankees

Alex Rodriguez crushes a two-run home run off of Keith Foulke in the top of the ninth inning in Fenway Park.

Chien Ming Wang did not pitch well today, giving up 7 runs on 9 hits ( including one home run). In contrast, Boston starter, Curt Schilling, was excellent- the Yanks scored only one run off of him.

Down by 8 in the ninth, Rodriguez and Posada homered off of Keith Foulke to make the game a bit closer. Terrence Long was called up from AAA to replaced the injured Bubba Crosby; Sheffield is expected to be taken off the DL tomorrow.
