Notes:

Randy Johnson struggled for his third consecutive start, giving up 5 runs on seven hits ( including a go-ahead home run to Ty Wigginton). He did pitch into the seventh inning, and picked up his league best 5th win ( tied with Jose Contreras of the White Sox).

The Yankee bullpen was dominate once again, with good performances by Sturze, Myers , and Proctor. The Yankee bullpen really has been splendid so far this year, check out these ERAs:

Kyle Farnsworth: 2.53 ERA
Ron Villone: 1.80 ERA
Mike Myers: 1.08 ERA
Scott Proctor: 1.56 ERA

Hideki Matsui had his second consecutive multi-hit game; he went three for five, only a triple short of the cycle.

Johnny Damon opened the game up in the eighth with a grand slam to left field ( after the D'Rays had opted to intentionally walk Sheffield to get to him).
