Wang, Cano Get the Yankees Back on Track

Chien-Ming Wang delivered his second consecutive solid start, pitching 7+ shutout innings. Wang allowed only 5 hits and a walk, while striking out three. Myers, Farnsworth, and Rivera all did excellent jobs in relief, Rivera picking up his 13th season save.

Derek Jeter played short for the first time in over a week, and went two for four with a pair of singles. Bernie Williams also had two hits, but Robinson Cano's solo home run provided all the necessary offense.

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez continues his awful slide, going 0 for 4 with three strikeouts.
