Through the first six innings of this ballgame, we were witnessing a pitcher's duel. But after Jarett Wright was pulled in the seventh, the New York bullpen unravelled- Farnsworth and Villone both allowing two runs on a combined five hits. Meanwhile, Horacio Ramirez did his job, holding down the Yankees. Ramirez allowed only one unearned run through the first seven innings. Melky Cabrera hit a solo home run in the ninth to bring the Yankees to within three.

  • This is Mike the Red Sox fan. Look on the bright side. The Yankees lose 19-1, and they don't lose any ground against Boston.

But you might want to think about getting some pitching.
